It is a shame that this site is in jeopardy. I presumed that there was a full time administrator. In fact I didn't question how the site was run or how it was funded. I was over the moon to find this site and although I don't use it very often it is wonderful to see what people are doing and to feel part of something. Where can I find out more?See More

Flooding

During my residency in Wales I came across an exhibit at a place called Danger point. As part of their exhibit they show children how to pack a flood kit to keep ready at home. This made me realise that flooding is becoming more and more of an every day reality. I have started to give out sand bags to artists, so that I can create a large artistic flood defense. If anyone is interested in decorating a sand bag please let me know. I am also interested in any flooding/water/sea issues. Thanks.

art in nature 'exploring the drift line' at Holywell Art and Craft Mill, Holywell, Flintshire

December 12, 2010 to December 15, 2010
Celebrating the beautiful areas of coastline as well as highlighting the plight of our polluted seas. Showing own work and that of groups who worked with me. The exhibition is fun and interactive, showing that we can be hopeful and do things to help the environment. Lets just get the plastic out of the sea!

A caravan covered in plastic recovered from the sea. Inside is what the coast should look like. A wealth of environmental information.

Other interests
Combining playwork theory, theapist knowledge and artistic skill.
Street art enthusiast
Best idea you've had this year
Linking my environmental passions, with walking along the coastal driftline to cover a1970s caravan with the plastic rubbish I find. It will look like a larger than life kitsch sea side ornament. This will attract the public to come in and find out what is really going on!
